Return Policy
At Áine & Co. we believe every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and stress-free for any occasion. Our return policy reflects our commitment to fairness, transparency, and your peace of mind.
1. Dress Hire Returns
- All hired dresses must be returned on the last day of your hire period, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. If you're sending your dress back with DPD, please make sure it's dropped off to your nearest DPD drop-off by 12pm on the last day of your hire. If you're returning to the studio, we'll need it back by 8pm on your final hire day.
- Dresses should be returned in their original garment bag or box it was delivered in and in reasonable condition, free from excessive damage or staining.
- Late returns may incur a €40 per day late fee to cover disruption to other bookings.
2. Damage & Cleaning
- Professional cleaning is included in your hire fee - please do not attempt to clean the dress yourself.
- Minor wear (e.g. loose threads, light marks) is acceptable.
- Significant damage (tears, burns, heavy staining, or alterations) may result in a repair or replacement fee of up to the full retail value of the dress.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the hire date are eligible for a full refund (minus a €25 processing fee).
- Cancellations made 14–29 days before the hire date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the hire date are non-refundable, as the dress will have been reserved exclusively for your use.
- If your event is cancelled or postponed due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, bereavement, venue closure), please contact us - we'll do our best to reschedule or offer credit where possible.
4. Damage Protection Add-On
- At checkout, you'll have the option to add €15 Damage Protection. This covers up to €100 worth of accidental damage to your hired item - the final repair value will be assessed by our Áine & Co repairs team.
- If an item is damaged beyond repair and must be fully replaced, the damage protection does not apply. In this case, you'll be responsible for A) The full replacement cost of the item, and B) Any lost rental fees, where applicable.
- If you decide not to add Damage Protection and the item is damaged, Áine & Co reserves the right to charge up to the item's full RRP, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Non-Returns
- If a dress is not returned within 7 days of the agreed return date and no contact has been made, the item will be deemed lost or unreturned, and the full retail value of the dress will be charged.
